Built the "Raíz" capsule around India-meets-Latin silhouettes: a reversible vest, two puff-sleeve shirts and pants. Hand-block prints, mirror work and embroidery set as the signature crafts.
Silhouette Development & Construction Review
Vest made fully reversible with patch pockets on the printed side. Shirts given puff sleeves, a 6" back yoke, 4" side slits and 5.5" cuffs closed with three buttons on fabric loops
Material curation & colourway lock
Hand-woven, rain-fed Kala cotton in natural, undyed tones, with Kala mirror fabric on the yoke and cuffs. Indigo block print for the vest reverse. Mill certificates and supplier names shared on day one
Fittings & Trials
Three samples refined in two rounds, down from the four to five Flor was used to. Peacock collar, mirror work and blanket stitch approved on the garment, with weekly videos from the printing tables
Tech Pack Lock & Grading
Every thread number, button and embroidery placement locked into the tech packs. Size charts in inches and cm, English and Spanish, so reorders match the first run
Production, QC & Delivery
Vision to retail-ready inventory in 40 days. Shipped with BTS reels, product photography and QR provenance pages
